A week like that is enough to put you

into a very philosophical frame of mind.  I hope the tests on the kidneys come out negative and everybody sails out into good health and optimism. Tough stuff...

Thanks, Everyone! It Somehow...

...helps to know you all know, and have had weeks similar (or even years!)

This week is proving to be calmer, so far, anyway. Is that better? I'll withold judgement on that for now.

Azur - it's a swelling on, and they're not sure what it is, even after an ultrasound on Tuesday. A biopsy is next. They say it doesn't look like a tumour. My guess is it has to do with occasional bouts of steroids. (For a gut complaint, not an athletics career!)

Mark - you sure know how to turn a guy on!

I've had a week like that since 1976 ~

Which is why I keep myself as prophylactic as possible.

It's not a cure, but it helps.
