Dear Friends:
It's gratifying to see so many people "get it." Now, if we could just start a movement (perhaps the Larry Summers Anti-Massacree Movement"? Just a thought) we might be able to persuade some college boards of visitors and their prexies to give a few of these tenured twits a short lesson in reality-based academia.
Lord, I'm such a cockeyed optimist ...
PS - I don't know how many top-level tenured guys and gals teach at most universities, but apparently at Harvard it's minus two or less ... Hopefully, the smaller, less prestegious schools are not following the leaders.

Great post, Rarmcwa, a points taken. And after the academic intelligentsia
have refused to pass on their bit of knowledge, and the faux intelligentsia (from inflated grades and undeserved degrees) become the academic leaders and professors?

Ah. Perhaps that is why they are adding "new Ivies."
Pretty lame if everyone gets honors. Then again imagine being one of the few who don't...how bad must they have done? Or did they just get on the wrong side of someone? Not pay their tuition in full?
