NEVER, mellyn. It is the lot of simpleton megalomaniacs like Dubya to
'stay the course' because they are truly convinced of their methods, their means to a desirable end, are justifiable and right, even when they're neither. And it doesn't matter the motive, whether it be for personal glory, financial gain, or religious power trip. But you can't win a war (and winning seems to be all that matters in this unwinnable situation) with half-assed methods, no matter how large your ego.

The Americans are being picked off one or two at a time until there are no more, and this fool of a president says he is "staying the course." I wonder when he will realize and admit he has made the biggest mistake in history.
