I think, for the most part, that the person saying the things must be given consideration. Does he spend all his time criticizing others? Or, maybe she was just having a bad day. Most of it is very unimportant in the grand scheme of things.

I think if I ever did read something that I felt was directed at me I’d probably not give it a moment of my time. It is, after all, just Blogit – an arena to purge some thoughts or share wisdom and creativity. It’s not a gossip playground. For the most part I can safely say that in my case “ignorance is bliss”. Perhaps you shouldn’t read too much into what is written and most certainly don’t take it personally.

Kidding, I am not paranoid...
I never think people are talking about me... which means there are probably people out there in real life saying, "She's so clueless. She doesn't even know we think she <whatever, most likely dresses like a slob, i.e. comfortably>"

Julia,
They are all kinda alike. I think the fear of not being liked, and wanting to be liked stems from the insecurity. It's something to wonder about. Kinda interesting if you think about it...

I think perhaps paranoia stems more from insecurity and
lack of self esteem rather than wanting to be liked...but they are sorta related!

Sincerity Anna, I think everyone has the potential for the kind of paranoia
You refer to -- not clinical. But I totally agree with Blackcat. The more your behavior fails to match your moral or ethical standards, the more unstable you are, and prone to unreasonable fears. Great question.
