difference though
is that you were working at home. One of my jobs is to make sure my people take the vacation they earn. I don't want to have everyone out using up their time at the same time. Ahh, I miss the days when I could just do work and not to have to manage people.

You may not remember this, but this is in effect what was happening with me
at the University, and that was a state job. I tried to quit several times because Ashley was small and I wanted to be home with her. It was a 37.5 hr work week and tons of holidays and vacation. I first worked it out that I would use one of those days off a week. Still, I wanted to quit, so they let me work at home lots. By the end of it all, I could have worked it out time wise so that I came in on Fridays. It was bizarre. Now, the kicker was, I had to do all the same amount of work. That was a given. I wasn't getting vacation in the sense of going away, not working, but I could work the numbers to let me do what I needed to do.
