You have touched upon a great point. Truth means something different to everyone. Reality is specific only as it is seen. I just love these topics!

Avant-Garde, reality is an agreed-upon convention
I didn't make that up, I read it somewhere, but I believe it fits.  There are grand, abstract ideas of reality like "patriotism, honor, duty, liberal and conservative, American, etc", and there are other, smaller realities, the same word "blue" describes the sky, a dark navy blue, a whole gamut of shades, but it's all the same word, blue, so that even the people using that word, aren't sure if it means the same to the person listening as to the person speaking.

I think you are right. I honestly do not know what normal is. It certainly isn't what we witness each day that causes one to question sanity.

I try, Avant-Garde, I feel I could be more honest
In some sense, I feel I owe it to people who can't speak for themselves, to try to describe what it feels like to be completely lost in that other realm.  What many people mock, deride and revile as lunacy and insanity is often, I believe, a state of becoming closer to God, a stripping away of mundane reality.

I think we all feel that we swing between the material and spiritual. I think you're more open and honest about it than most.

Avant-Garde,

I've vacillated between an automaton and becoming conscious, running from consciousness back into the shell of unthinking denial.  Then, when denial is too deep, and the shell cracks, shivering in reality until I felt the warmth of the Spirit of God, always there. No one knows where it comes from or where it goes, but without it life is ashes, and with it, poverty is immeasurable wealth.

Great post, Avant, the spirit is in the wind and in the leaves.

We can’t wait around for God to enter our lives or pray that he change it in some capacity.  We can, however, see his presence in everything around us and celebrate those subtle yet soulful reminders.

Indeed. The greatest of all is what happens when these words trail off into eternity, leaving only eternity in its wake.

A beautiful explanation of God's enduring patience and love.  He is waiting. All we need to do is ask.  Wonderful message, my friend!

Positive Energy
Opposites attract covering defects for each other's glory- if this is what unity is then we may consider it a promise, supported that we align not towards one but a union of goals.
