I'm a bit confused...
I don't recall saying anything about molestation re: homosexuals in my post.  Actually, from what I've learned, many people who claim to be homosexual have some incident of molestation in their background.

And, God did make someone to be something that He forbids in His word.  That's the most absurd idea and makes absolutely no sense.  Unless He were a very cruel God, which He is not.  The problem is that sin brings condemnation and guilt for a certain period of time and then God allows people to have their way even if it means they forsake Him to do so.  He doesn't stop loving them but He is a holy God and sin has no place in His kingdom.  That's why Jesus paid the price for sin so we could enjoy what we lost when Adam betrayed God.

People can and will believe what they want to about homosexuality and any other sin but when they face God when they leave this earth, they will face Him on His terms not theirs and that won't change because they choose to believe something different.  He created us not the other way around and our opinions mean diddly squat in the overall picture of things.

The best thing I know to do is to love people who are blinded by sin because that's what the Bible teaches.  If we treat each and every person with kindness and love and let our lives as Christians speak by way of that love, they will come to desire what we have because of it.

Why would anyone misunderstand you?
I have nothing against someone who chooses to be of a race other than my own.  What I have a problem with is being told that I'm supposed to accept that who they are is alright when I believe who they are is wrong.  And, I have no intention of changing that stand.

I have known several persons of other races on a personal basis, I like several people that choose that lifestyle (although there is a growing body of evidence that thay are "that way" because that's the way God made them ... but you can prove anything by science, so I don't believe a word of it).  I do try to be considerate of their feelings but I won't change my beliefs to make them happy.  I also think that would be absurd for them to expect that of me.

Interestingly, there has never been a shred of evidence to suggest gays and lesbians are more likely to molest children than (pardon the expression) straights. My wife is a lawyer in Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court, and before that she was a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (the person who inspects the child's home and presents an objective report to the judge, to be factored in along with all the other evidence). During her CASA training, she was informed that the great majority of molestation is heterosexual, generally by the stepfather, boyfriend or even, heaven help us all, the biological father. My own mother and aunt were fondled by their drunken father when they were teenagers, so believe me, pedophelia and ebiphibophilia (molestation of post-pubescent but legally underaged children by adults) runs in all kinds of families.

I guess that's all I have to say about it for now.

In a blog site ripe with liberal BS it's nice to occationally find a blog I can relate to.

Way to stand by your principles.
