DM...
...are you backing out of the discussion because the article isn't written by me - and i guess that precludes you from discussing any press article ever! - or because it's becoming increasingly clear that the actions of a government you've spent so long defending are, in fact, indefensible?

Thanks for reading, anyway.

This article is very good.

The only point I would dispute is the one about U.N.S.C. authorization being required for armed force. I believe there is an exception made so that when a nation is attacked, it may defend itself by force without the U.N.'s approval. (Otherwise, one U.N.S.C. nation could attack another and then avoid retribution by vetoing the attacked nation's request for permission to strike back.)

But I think this article is very good because, unlike some literature written by critics of the Iraq war, it does not gloss over the crimes of Saddam Hussein. At the same time, it highlights the crimes of George W. Bush, for which investigations into possible impeachment are being made. (If only they could get more support in Congress.)

the Bush Administration says "To hell with the rest of the world.  We're going to do what we want to do, even if it included internationally recognized atrocities.

Nope...

I don't care to discuss the subject of your...er...Aaron Glantz's article. Since you didn't write the thing yourself it seems pointless to discuss the matter with someone who apparently can't even form their own thoughts on the issue.

Actually...
....I got permission from OneWorld.net, who own the copyright.

Now - care to deal with the subject matter in hand, rather than acting all cop-like?

Damon...

Did you receive permission from Aaron Glantz to make money from his hard work?

Do you realize that if you haven't received his permision then you have just violated copyright laws?

And if you haven't received permission to plagiarize his work, should I contact Mr. Glantz and notify him that you are making money by stealing his work and posting it on a site that pays its contributors on a monthly basis?

I seriously hope you didn't just cut and paste someone else's hard work just to make a few pennies for yourself.
