Did you lose anybody in the attacks? I didn't, but for the people who did, sadness and mourning is a part of their lives now, and if having public memorials on the anniversary helps, soothes, aids their healing in any way, then I'm not going to complain. After all, we don't have to watch it if we don't want to.
