Jems--
Sometimes we just have to take it day by day. Losing someone we love dearly is the worst part about being human, I think. I'm here for you if you need someone.

Here, Jemmie, we differ. The only time I find it difficult to write is when I'm in a severe depressive phase of my bipolar disorder. When under stress of any sort, I find it easy to write - some of my most recent entries are a whopping 1500+ words long (the length of some magazine article).

Writers Block

Sometimes feelings need to be expressed right away but I find there are times I can't articulate what I'm feeling because of the complexity of the emotions. You have happy (the new job), sad (a constant in your life from losing your Daddy), fear (money woes), love (J) all at once so it's no wonder it can be hard to write sometimes.

You have a gift Jemms, the block will dissolve, and you'll be writing again very soon.

I lost my dad two years ago, too.  I feel your pain.
