I think this sounds familiar.

No doubt I have read/ heard it before.

Sometimes I think we tend to believe the answer which seems most attractive.

An interesting suggestion I once heard is that when we die we must go to exist with similar people to ourselves. This seems like true justice to me, but I'm not sure it's an attractive prospect for most of us. Of course that might depend upon how long we must stay in their company.

Or maybe this is a bit of Karma we often live out on Earth. Would you say so?
