Whacky--- I believe that it's the mind more than the eyes that play the

It's good to be reminded of these careless errors. Amazing how we know the proper use of the word, but our careless fingers have a mind of their own, or is it our mind that's slacking?

Computers are not clever enough to check meaning, just spelling.
Computers still cannot beat human intelligence. My computer gets really confused with French and English and is usually two steps behind what I want. You cannot rely too heavily on the spell check. Sometimes it corrects words and actually add mistakes. Have you noticed how the computer corrects the word practice versus practise the verb, or is just me? It does that in Words.
