Janes I am so glad to hear the Mutt is doing well for the age.

Regarding squirrels, I do love watching them . . . when my dog gives me a chance! The auld mutt is pretty good about clearing the yard of all "vermin."

we have a number of 'resident' squirrels, who get fed along with the birds. They're fun, actually, with distinct personalities!

I got to watch a number of deer, maybe a dozen or so, of all ages dancing around in the woods as I ate dinner. Watching animals at play is special.
