Vigilance, Bhaskar, is the solution. And it always will be.

It is estimated, nonconformist, there are 100 million extremist Muslims
out of approximately 1.2 billion Muslims on the planet.  Both numbers decrease daily due to the suicide bombing and the two wars going on in the Middle East (not counting all the other separatist wars going on).  Yet, it is still bad form to blame all Muslims for the actions of a relative few.

While we may, on the one hand, take pride that a major threat has been aborted, it, in no way lessens the fear lurking at the back that anyone, anywhere is susceptible and not safe. How can this larger issue be addressed is a point to be reflected, until a solution is found.

Dropping a pebble into water.

When evil (or good) things happen, it's like dropping a pebble in water. Either way it spreads! It is reported that now people in some areas here are pickng on innocent Muslims in the streets, even the children get picked on in school. This was happening before but of course is now getting worse, despite calls from many to keep up the good relations which most communites have. this only makes thngs worse. It's very sad to see how always the few spoil things for the many.

Nonconformist.

Of course, Mademoiselle. I did not mean to impugn a single word of your
commentary.  (Nor can I afford to offend my most loyal reader.  LOL.)

Isn't there always (merit to my comments)?

Well, besides that one about Lieberman sounding like the father on "Alf".

Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself.
MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words
"mank" and "ind."
What do these words mean?
It's a mystery, and thus, so is mankind.

Lindsay Lohan has a love life? How does she fit it in with all the binge
drinking?  And there's merit to your comment, Mademoiselle.  There is no doubt much that can be done to make the United States safer (border security, port security, airline security, etc.).

I actually think this attempt, seeing as it was foiled (for now, anyway), may turn out to be a very positive development ...

In terms of jarring the American people out of their collective malaise. I mean, let's face it, prior to last night, Lindsay Lohan's love life was garnering more public interest than the ongoing war on terror.

The first thing was, I learned to forgive myself.
Then I told myself, "Go ahead, do whatever you want, it's ok by me."
