I Used to Borrow Kids Too.
One is a handful, if you aren't accustomed to children. When people asked to borrow the twins, I always wonder if they know what they are getting into. Heck, I even asked that question when they borrow the older one.

They like you cause your a sweet lady and they can sense it.
I don't have that problem as I usually scare the bejesus out of kids...their mother's too sometimes. Animals are a completely different story. I wish I had a dollar for every time I was greeted by a cat or a dog while the owner watched in amazement exclaiming " he never does that...to anybody ". I fear it may be the smell as well but not from aromatic oils.
