Do you really think you'll get sent over there, Passion? It sure doesn't appeal to me. Oooooooh, snakes!

Thanks Taps...I guess somebody forgot to tell us
That there was a WETLANDS (hello? all kinds of snakes, mosquitoes, lizards, rats, gators, etc) just off the coast of New Orleans.
I guess they forgot to mention that Katrina washed all that stuff into the city. I guess they meant to warn us but just felt it might be a fun surprise instead.

I'll bet you have, Passionflower. And, that's one of the reasons I worried about you when you were in New Orleans.

I hate snakes as much as anyone, Taps
But they always get stirred up by the big storms...hurricanes and tornadoes...so I've run into a few before.

Passionflower, I've never read about a person getting bit by one. So take heart. I just thought you might want to be forewarned. LOL

WritersBlok...I'm hoping to get deployed soon.
This hurricane season has been a slow starter. I've got several writing projects and a few other things in the meantime.

I'm sorry, Passionflower, hahaha. I've never wanted to go to Guam since reading all those articles back in the '90s about snake patrols going out every night with gunny sacks and forked sticks collecting them off of fences and trees and there not being any birds in the forests because they and their eggs had all been eaten by the brown tree snakes. But, maybe they have fixed that problem by now.

Passionflower, Whenever I think of Guam, I think of the invasion of the brown tree snakes and the man who woke up in the middle of the night with a big one trying to swallow his nose. I hope the typhoon does not drive them into the cities and that you do not have to deal with any of them.
