...weekend, Israel was bombing a specifically Christian enclave in the city - the last place Hezbollah would choose to hang out!

Which is just another signifier of the lie that this is all about the "War on Terror". That's bullshit, and everyone knows it. It's about Israel using the cover of Bush's phony war to re-ignite old desires for Lebanese territory.

I have not always agreed with your post in the past, but I am with you on this one.

In addition to the blatent insanity and barbaric acts of Isreal against the innocent lives in Lebanon......I wonder if any of the "Christians" in the US realize that 40% of the population in Lebanon are Christians as well? I don't think so, like most of the ignorant statements that I'm hearing from self proclaimed Christians in the US, they have no idea of the realities on the ground and what this fight is really about.

Thanks for your informative post, you have brought to light many things that I do not think most people know or even think about in the US.

I wrote a post on August 1st....dedicated to Baby Abbas that was murdered in the attack on Qana. Ironically, this is the area believed by Christian Lebanease where Jesus turned water into wine.
