yup, majroj, give them their 40 acres and mule and have them go at it.
Plant, chop, plant, ad infinitum...........but, the buying public is the problem, not the lumberjacks. If we didn't buy, they would have no one to sell to. Then, they'd have to go plant coffee or cacau or soy or something.

I say give the lumber companies their property to sew, grow, and hew.

If forests are such renewable resources as they tell us, then they don't need infinite cutting rights do they?

I WISH the story about the old man who planted trees in Spain was true.

There is nothing more theurapedic that sitting
in the mountains or forest overlooking scattered mile high trees- It is said that these places are becoming extinct
