8-ball,
Kid amaze me.  I'm sure I don't have any memories from 3 years old.  Wow.  "I just know, Mom."  Classic.  Thanks.  :)

...or educational TV?
My son picks up interesting words all the time.  He's got most of the general facts about babies...but we usually use nicknames for body parts.  Every now and then he figures out a proper name and insists on using it for a while. (To my embarassment it's usually loud and in a crowded, public place)

I walk with my son each day but he's not much of a talker yet.

It may be something he thinks he just knows
He may have heard it from the doctor when he was three and while he may not remember the conversation it stuck with him.

Yes I am trying to get it out of him but he just tells me I just know. I love our bike rides, hate it when it rains though like today.

I don't think he did because the babysitters kids are aged 5 and 8 months and there are no other kids she watches during the day and he hasn't been to school. That was the first place I thought he would have learned that from. I think he is what they call an old soul, you know what I mean because the way he said it to me it was like he just knew. Really weird.

Your bike ride idea is just AWESOME! I love that!
If it were me, I wouldn't push too hard, but I would try and uncover the source of the information and I would have a little talk with him to try and find out what else he knows. Just being casual and not making a big deal out of it. Maybe on another bike ride. If you don't explain these things then there's no telling what kind of messed up information they'll have in their heads from others! What a good mommy!

He must have learnt through his friends .Children learn more from other
sources than immediate family members.
