Thanks for dropping in.
Yep, it is long, but people do read my long/er blogs, so I don't se that it's a problem.
Not that I care all that much about ratings, anyway. I've been in the top ten several times ; slid back to the 300s ; bounced back up, then down again ; now up again. Slippery pole!.

THanks for droppin' in!
Yep, I wonder if I oughta get a backhoe and sweep 'em up.
People in Cornwall call tourists " Emmets " ants. ( Or is it " Grockles ? ) Not very nice, is it?

Talk about the locals vs the tourists!!!
Love the glow in the dark like fireflies image and the scrunchy prawn-like legs sticking out from shorts. I've seen the same whiny pale vacationers at similar hot beaches, but never had the descriptive words down quite as well as yours. Great read!!!

Why thankee, ma'am! I'm a bit up and down at the moment, still having some unidentifiable health problems. Still, manana's another day.
I meant Celsius, not Fahrenheit, silly! And 48 Celsius is a bit on the warm side Even for me!
Lurrvvv the pink ... er ... well... you know .. the er ... yeah! The thingy!

That's really good ...
Lots of metaphors. Some of which are almost like similes.
Btw, are you feeling okay? Because 48 degrees isn't hot at all! In fact, it's only 16 degrees above freezing!
"Basically, there are three ways the skunk and I are a lot alike.
The first is, we both like to spread our 'stink' around.
The second is we both get hit by cars a lot.
The third is stripes."
