Lastest entry?
Data Rescue II was too late; I think my large cache of fotos have disappeared forever into cyberspace.
I will have much to do to replace the many scanned slides of hubby's earlier work. That won't begin until I have the dough to buy the new printer/slide scanner/etc (next month). On top of that, we've had flash thunderstorms with lightning and flash power outages, argh -- I found a card I had made with one of the only rainbows I have found thus far in the thousands of slides I have already looked at....Ko-da-chrome.... and here’s my one verse that I jotted just before I jumped into the shower.
I have enjoyed reading
all of them (which I did after I wrote mine); loved all the beautiful photos and graphics! Awesome and wondrous!!!

Hey Troosha! I agree with Ypun (I know he'll appreciate that!)
But great writing nonetheless! As for your picture! hahaha Look close! It is a closeup of the center of my #4 picture!

I found it also and almost used it til I found the bigger one! That is so funny! It is still a great pic though, and you used it well!

Troosha-exactly! MC thanx for everything-&your input.Modifying blog name,OK
Troosha, your breathtaking rainbow haiku is 8 syllables long in the second line. A simple edit will make it well-nigh perfect.
I suggest drop the letter "a" in L2, you really do not need "definite and indenfinite articles" in haiku anyway. Great job--and yes, you are always on time in the haiku world. Haiku for world peace.

Mneme, you are doing a great job! Keep writing. You are all
my great inspiration and my drug of choice! The very reason I son't sleep at night is to come to Blogitville to visit with all my friends! Good of our friend Ypun to host this gathering! Of course, it's good for his purse too! hahaha

Slightly in tune with Marie-Claire
but these took longer than last night's...
A secret rainbow
dull day softly brightening
gentle droplets dance
uniformly muted
regimented colours flow
light of love soaring
dark clouds gathering
nuanced hues misunderstood
rainbow seen backwards
beneath ghostly skies
chill raindrops cruise the window
heavy as hot tears
again comes the sun
misty eyes search gloomy sky
whither the rainbow
palest glimmer fades
nowhere now glows the rainbow
while I wait for you
soft springtime showers
walking under watered sun
in wet blue heaven
rain and sun combine
in your warmly smiling eyes
again the rainbow

This haiku is especially
pertinent at this time in history. Adding the bold and colouring the first line reinforces it to. An excellent idea.

Rainbow: to me it's
Bungle and Zippy and George -
Sharp stick of headfill.
(Don't know whether we exported it. Rainbow was a kids' programme when I was smiley and nice. All people in England my age remember it fondly.)

SORRY FOR HOGGING THE SPACE. READY OR NOT HERE IT COMES!
HERE WE GO WITH RAINBOWS, I KNOW YOU KNOW I LOVE RAINBOWS

seven little colors
splash across the sky making
God’s huge bright sunlight
arch from cloud to cloud
rainbow’s bright glory from God
promise to His own
rainbow in the mist
painting colors through the sky
nature’s bright palette
teardrops from heaven
rainbow soaring cross the sky
brighten dismal day
emerald isle myth
always want me lucky charms
gold at rainbows end

rainbow defiant
bowing to no element
Save mother sunshine
life’s stormy weather
sunshine chases rain clouds away
rainbow in my heart
rainbow separates
true life yields to fantasy
over the rainbow

swimming in the stream
evading bears hungry jaws
speckled rainbow trout
storm abates fury
sky lightens with peace on earth
rainbow paints the sky

myriad colors
natures crystalline prism
rainbow arches high
pathway to heaven
heaven bound souls walk rainbow
colorful journey
colored light river
flowing through heavens channels
souls drink from rainbow

sky filled with color
nature has outdone herself
behold two rainbows
hilltop to hilltop
never seeing either end
infinite rainbow

palette of each life
rainbow colors make bright light
no segregation
faultless creation
rainbow seeks no new color
God’s great perfection
God’s throne in heaven
circled by jasper rainbow
what eyes can bear it

northern lights rainbow
aurora borealis
natures best light show
mist rising softly
mountain tops peeking thru clouds
rainbows dance brightly

leviathan rise
break ocean surface blowing
rainbow in your mist
mist across my eyes
hearts love is lost forever
rainbow brings no joy
