MC, do you think that may be why people can't comprehend the
horrors of real war? all they've ever seen is war on a video screen where the "good guys" always win?

Even as real as it all is for me it is still very difficult to comprehend the very REAL reality. I have seen pictures, I have had my heart ripped out from my chest in fear, I spent a year with my husband in the thick of it and telling me about what he did and saw. When I think of it, I still can't picture him in that insanity and if I am honest, it is probably more like a horrific movie than real life even for me.
I think in many ways it's more than our souls can handle so in turn we make it so we can tolerate what comes across our TV screen every evening.
