I understand what you're saying.  But do you really think that is going to change, no matter what you say?
I don't believe in any group of people being all good or all bad. I think most people understand that.  People who try to justify hate for a total group of people are only hurting and deceiving themselves.

When people start talking hate, I just turn my head.  I don't listen to that crap. I've come to far to allow myself  to be constantly enangered by the hate in the hearts of others.  Yes, sometimes it's unavoidable.
You can say all you want that someone is spreading lies and hatred, but unless you can really do something about it, why put yourself through this?
You're time would be better spent spreading the truth through your own research.
And would likely be a welcome break for those readers who are also sick of the hatred.

if she were just spouting certain ideas that were harmless -- i also would ignore here

but her rhetoric has increasingly become more anti-muslim and inciteful of biase toward them, with no good valid evidence to back up her statements.  it is evident that she hasn't read history, nor the writings of muslims here on blogit.

her attitude toward Muslims is similar to that held by so many caucasian americans, and still held by quite a few, toward African Americans.

i wasn't going to quote because somone will raise a southern hissy fit
but here is it

"A Jewish child is not taught to hate and destroy. A Muslim child is. I don't care how many of you personally know and see cute Muslim children. They are cute as any children but they are taught to find a Jew or an American the lowest person living."  from Justi's ONLY GLASS IS THE SAME ON BOTH SIDES in her blog PLAY FAIR OR TAKE YOUR BALL AND GO HOME

total misinformation

another :  "
You certainly will never be able to talk them into any sort of peace with any country of any other religion even a different sect of their own religion. They are taught from birth to be a bloody people."

biased misinformation

still another:  "If by your faith you are taught to hate to the point of destruction all other than yourselves, no dialog can change that. You will have a difficult time believing the other side has any positive motives for anything. Therefore the war of terrorism will never end. It is going on now in so many parts of the world."

totally biased misinformation.

muslims here has knocked that stupid line of bullshit into a cocked hat.  read them instead of biased pseudo christian babble.

I know it won't matter what I say, but I'm gonna say it anyway...
Stop reading her!  Why continue to read her, especially if she blocks you?
I stopped reading her a while ago, when it became quite clear to me that she wasn't interested in debating anything that went against her beleifs.  She just wanted to be left alone and say what she wants to say.

Are her views wrong? I don't know I haven't read her in awhile.  I would be tempted to debate things if I felt the need and she doesn't want that.  So I try to stay within the many other posts where I feel I can debate things if needed without feeling like someone will be totally offended.
I'm not hunting her down to say things that offend her.  Now if she puts her two cents into someone else's posts that I read, I feel free to respond to her comments, as she got herself involved.

Not just her, but anyone else with the attitude that they don't want a debate, I try to stay away from.

one of her latest posts is an example of what i am saying

it is totally biased and uninformed.  it incites others against Muslims.  that is a great crime in my book.

I generally try to stay out of blogs that name others by name

because they usually get pretty volitile and are often personal attacks.  But given I know you can' t respond to her posts I would suggest being careful as I am under the impression you could get banned for using anothers name in a post that might be consdiered inflamatory.

With that said!  You make a very good point and honestly I am exhausted by the topic BUT it still needs to be said.    My husband served in Iraq last year.  (I am not here to debate the conflict, so let's please agree to leave that out of it) but he was supported by MANY Muslims countries including Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.  These are primarily MUSLIM countries!  He took R&R in a Muslim country that is set up for the troops to take a few days away from the fighting and relax a bit without living 24/7 in fear.  This was in a Muslim country!

I am so tired of seeing others blame everything on one faith because we don't entirely understand it.   I am the first to say I don't know enough about the faith to sit down and discuss it's philosphy, what I know are PEOPLE!  I have dealt with Muslims for many years and I do not fear Muslims but I'll tell you what when the local church comes knocking on my door telling me I need to come to their church and pray for my husband's safety in Iraq so God will keep him safe, something is messed up.  I did not have to attend any church to pray.  I prayed several times a day for my husband's safety and it was never inside of a church!  He came home safe and mostly sound.  Scaring me into a church or a particular belief is emotional terrorism in my book!

Sorry Xeno, didn't mean to go off, but this is a topic that makes me nuts.  I am tired of seeing the hate that is being spewed at the Muslims because of an extreme group that uses their beliefs to excuse bad behavior.  Nothing is going to change as long as we keep picking groups of people to hate and claim it's for a good cause.

I don't believe I have ever read anything that would suggest Justi hates any people, culture or religion.

Ah, well, Xenox, perhaps you can be thankful you're not
living in the Middle East!  There they shoot or blow up indiscriminately without care for what your beliefs may be, albeit they seem to have a particular hatred for Jews.
