I'm pursuing my pilot's license right now and I found it interesting to know that English is the only language spoken in flight...as far as communication between aircraft, ground control, etc...That's because flight was really first established and pursued here in the States so we reserved the right to have English be the lingua-franca for aviation.
Now, another interesting thing...the most spoken language in the world is Mandarin Chinese...out of sheer population. I studied French for 5 years, but I wish my school would have offered Mandarin instead...because they are going to be and already are a major contender in world affairs. Anywho, there's my input.
Oh, my Greek prof is pretty certain too that the language we'll speak in heaven will be Hebrew...since it is the most expressive language in all of history.
