Greenfields, recently we had a wonderful rainy day after a long, hot dry spell. The temperature dropped from 104 degrees to somewhere in the lower 60's and I actually had goosebumps for the first time in months. I reveled in the smell, the feel of moist air, the sound of the steady beat of the gentle rain all day long. The birds sang and played with all their might and even Pitiful (our cat), who doesn't at all like to get wet, was leaping and dashing like a crazy thing.
