Passionflower, this is her second CD, she has bounced back and forth
from gospel, pop, and jazz. She did this CD because she and her husband wanted to do something different, and has started opening doors for her. She has not gotten that big break yet, so she has tried to make it own her own, and so far it is getting noticed.

I checked out her CD and it's very cool...she's a lovely woman
And has a great voice. I wonder why she chose to do a CD of the Oldies though. ...That's been done over and over - Maybe on her next CD, she should look for some new songs, new material.
Does she ever write any of her own songs? Do you know who Amos Lee is? He's one of my jazz favs. His first CD was mostly NEW material that he had written. It was and is quite popular bec we get a chance to 'see' him thru his music.
You don't "see" Kimber thru her music because it's old stuff and makes you envision the older singers who originally did the songs.
Just my two cents worth.
