Don't you think it would be interesting, Gome...
If NASA decided to do a closeup fly-by? I think Iapetus has sufficient anomalies to make it a priority.

arGee - I remember when I first saw the image of Iapetus
Of all of the planets, moons, asteroids and other spacial bodies that have been viewed with our primitive means, it stands alone. Where the story you chronicle is by your own admission, speculative, it is no more absurd than some of the other origins contentions. The fact that it is possible, though improbable, advances it past many other stories of origins speculation.
