Lovely post; I love Boston, so I feel glad you were in Brookline. Boston was my home for 4-5 years in the 1990s. The words you share are so valuable. The first half is used in Buddhist meditation, at least Thich Nhat Hanh teaches this MINDFULNESS meditation, and his disciples and their followers... useful. Thanks
