You have that "true love" thing going for you.  Lucky!

Well, I shouldn't be so harsh, sorry...everyone is different. The heart
of a poet is the only kind of love I care to know.  Anything less is not enough for me personally.

Ariala
Yes, to not feel the pain, they must not love much.

Love doesn't hurt ...
to say love "hurts" must be a chick thing.

I couldn't figure this one out either but have definitely made up

My mind never to fall in love again just so I don't have to bother with it. Love not only hurts, but it's scary. It causes you to loose control of your emotions...that's bad for me.

So my advice is:::: Don't fall in love!

Damn Blackcat!!!

That is so beautifully stated!

Sunny, I have always been very protective of my heart.  Carl once got angry with me because I had such a wall around my heart.  He told me "you trust me with your life but not your heart".  Sad thing about that was he was right.

I discovered the day I watched the bus leave the armory with him in it, that all that protecting of my heart did no good because it was ripped out standing right there.  It hurt worse than anything I have ever experienced in my life.  What I learned in the process was that it was also worth the pain.  Without the ability to love we really don't have the ability to feel much else but hate and anger.  I'd rather hurt than never know love.

it's not the loving part that hurts. It's the power to inflict pain....
if you're really in love, then you're exposed and vulnerable to being hurt.   Sort of like a turtle without a shell...

love hurts??
it shouldn't hurt but unfortunately sometimes it just does if you are torn apart form the one you love, or abused by that person mentally or physically
