Poor guy. What a crummy job. Hi, I'm here to flip the switch and leave you

in the dark. Ugh.

And here in Dee-troit, we got the unified gas and electric. No lights, no air, no hot water, no stove. Bonus!!

Sorry I missed your original blog-
I'm having to work 9 to 5 till the first hurricane hits, so it sucks!!!!! Anyway, it sounds like you've wieghed your options and are making an informed decision. (I really hate when the guy comes out to turn off the electricity...what an asshole!)

Daycare can be quite profitable

A few suggestions especially for crazy child.

Draw up a contract that states cost, terms, etc...   If you expect to be paid on fridays then make it clear you will be paid by friday or don't bring the child until payment is made in full.  TRUST ME on this one, I have a friend who did daycare took in another friends child and ended up being owed almost $1000 before she realized the friend wasn't really a friend.

In that contract include something about any child found to be physical with other children, disruptive, bullying behavior etc... is ground for the child being removed from the daycare.

Get your liscense and the state will send you clients.  Well, at least in Michigan there is a providers list available to parents and most can't keep up with the demand.

That definitely sounds like a plan! You'll make it! After all, what's the
alternative? Life is hard, it really is, but it's not money that makes us happy. We've been beyond broke so many times so I know what it's like and I really feel for you! But as long as your family can remain close you can make it through this and just about anything else that might come your way! I applaud you for doing this, despite your reservations, in order to make certain your family is okay! Chin up! You can do it!
