Shatz, a very good point. As you watch the Mid-East conflict and
the teachings of the Bible unfold before you, maybe the skepticism will be deleted!

My husband reads the Bible every night before bed. Unfailingly.
He is not particularly religious, I think he just wants to be sure he knows what's in there. I had an aunt once tell me that you can't make your kids do everything 'by The Book', but they should at least know what's in it. Good advice about most things-make an educated choice. Even though I am a skeptic, I still like to know what's written there. How can you determine what you believe and disbelieve if you don't read it and see for yourself??

I'm proud to say that I've read thru the Bible
18 times. I know it very well and though I deserted God and my Christian roots for a few years, the Word was always in my heart.

ShellyB, Now is the time to start -- You don't want to left out in the dark
or cold -- Go to Understanding Mid-East Conflict and then read Isaiah Chapters 40-66 and then Psalms 100 - 150.   Need help after that, let me know!
