When I was a kid in grade school, they would take our classes for a tour there every year.  Somewhere up on one of the top floors was a scale model of KC that would light up in different sections and then all together.   Then they would always give us a little Reddy Kilowatt pen to take home with us.

Oh yes! That is right! I forgot you are from Kansas City also! Can you date
this building for me?

Swftfox, As a child in a bus or car at night, I would crane my neck and contort myself in whatever way was necessary to see KCPL top changing colors for just as long as it was in sight.

Not all mutations - a la JEKYLL & HYDE- are bad. Think butterfly fr. worm
and you have my haiku for tonight.  Cheers, Foxy Man!

Spasiba, Ypunday! The KCP&L building is one of the small cornerstones of
my memory. I hope they never tear it down as downtown KC is undergoing a major renovation. After that, I just love to mutate these pics and like I have said before, you can never tell what is going to come out of water! I might, tomorrow, post a series of the three grass pics au natural and mutated into my Embers series. Pretty cool to see the transformation! Kind of like Jekyll and Hyde!

Both of you are producing stunning & heart-istic work, Brava, Bravo SWFTFOX
I loved the light and the story--something positive to hold on to for all these years. The waterfall winds hands down, abstract or not, the colors are like a lively, orgasmic orchestra. If u know what I mean. Thanks for sharing your prowess...sell, SELL, SELL, whenever you can, Buddy. Cheers
