thank you to all my well wishers.
Had a celebratory Hot chocolate with a couple of friends at the French Café. got me all homesick. Give me the money and I am off. Wish I was a bird, I could fly anywhere....

Marseiilees (MY french spelling is atrocious)--Vive L a France;Bastille Day
Congrats--It's still Thursday 13th here. But we know you moved to Kiwi land to see the sun first, long before us in the USA. So u do beat us insomething after all. Congrats dear--
My senryu also has 17 syllables--
"I was pretending a master teaches soccer to the French team. He advises them to use their heads well--to head the ball and to think well. But one guy loses the ball and chooses to interpret the guru's teachings as literally using his head on the opponent." Rather ambitious, copmbing news and haiku elements, so I failed. Glad it's rance's national Day and got to wish you first. Vive La France!

Anyway that is France National day!
Allons enfants de la patrie
le jour de gloire est arrivé
contre nous de la tyrannie
l'étendard sanglant élevé...
entendez vous dans nos campagnes
mugir ...forgot the rest
Sing with me YPunday. That is my contribution for today. No party for me, boring really.
