Yeah, I saw something about this earlier ...
It's so sad.
Although even sadder is the fact that a less prestigious horse would have been euthanized on the spot (the very moment he was first injured). It seems as if, in America, only the wealthy and privileged horses receive high quality medical care.
I actually brought this up at an ACLU meeting. Seriously. However, I was eventually shouted down.
"Mommy, where does glue come from?"
