Crafty way of describing the frustration of trying to interject a word amidst the ramblings of a self-absorbed person. "Saying anything when she was talking felt like trying to throw a basketball into a hoop that kept on moving."
For some reason, the secret word that FLASHED at me was JESUS...but actually LOVE makes more sense... as CL so eloquently wrote. In your mind, what is the secret word? Am I way off? Melody
