WELL, TAPS, that made me cry. I guess in the misery of the day
I forget sometimes to finish it out and see if there isn't a antidote at the very end. God does have a nice schedule and He knows more about what is good than I do. Thank you for the effort you put into sharing that. It was eye opening and heartwarming! I love a good sunset!

YPunday, You do go on.  LOL.   That was last years poem after my evening walk and a beautiful sunset on the lake.   Swftfox wanted to read it because our poem titles were pretty much the same.

TAPS, you ought ot be on TV, at least every day in April (poetry month)
This is superb! Wow...wow...and WOW! Did you just write this one after the sunset, and evaluated your day. It is so uplifting, whatever u did or thought. The last two lines take it to new heights......asking, inviting, almost copmmanding Divinity to be here, and again, for all of us, tomorrow. Alelujah!

After enjoying a gorgeous sunset.....

IT  IS  FINALLY  OVER

Why does the day end on such a lovely note,
like the grand finale of a glorious toccata
when the day has been so long and wearing
with a fly in every ointment?
Why the sky-blue pink and flame-colored clouds
mirrored in the lake smooth as glass
but for the wake of the duck's last swim,
when the day was so dark and drear?
Why the peaceful silence that accentuates
the call of the loon welcoming the night
and gratefulness to my soul
after the pandemonium of the day?
Is this an expression of apology
for what I've been through this day?
Is it a colorful utterance of your love and care
or a wonderful promise of a new tomorrow?

YPUN! Sometimes I force myself to use a different cadence just to try
to keep out of a rut. I think that is what I did here! There is more coming! But I want to spread them out so I don't have to work too hard. Can  you believe tonight, about 10 after having only 7 hours of sleep in three days, they called me to go out again to rescue a broken down limo. I simply told them no. Plain and simple....NO! About my wife! Please do! Seriously! You would love to talk to her and she loves to meet people from all countries and walks of life. Uh, also from other planets but lets not go there! hahaha    sunqueen777@yahoo.com and her website www.sunqueenart.com

TAPS! I would love to read it! Let me know when and if you post it!
Keep watching my poetry blog cause in a couple days I'm taking revenge on all of you who have been talking this great sensuality and I'm gonna blow you all out of the water! You might want to be alone when you read it!

Swftfox, I did a double take here because I have a poem that I wrote last year titled It Is Finally Over.  I had to dig mine out because I really had forgot what it was about.  LOL.   But, even though they are both about a long hard day, they are quite different from each other.

I heard about r schedule these last few days.R poem has a lilting quality
that shows your abunant energy. Not a sleepy line at all. A man who accepts what comes his way, with faith and grace. Unless, you are not telling us ALL. Maybe we could ask the wife, hey!
