Interesting point about "irrevocably." I couldn't come up with another word that fit better, but thanks for the inspiration to keep at it.

Glad I checked out your poetry......EVERYBODY, read this. Good stuff

Some memorable lines, which usually elevates the poet, or keeps memories of him or her alive:

"until we open our eyes to ash gray waking.

The soul that has lost its dreams

lives only in ash gray waking,"     TRUE, Indeed. One nit: "irrevocably" is too long for the rhythm and ambience you had achieved in this gem of a poem. Bravo
