Timmy
He was the one and only constant in my life.  He loved me, he believed in me and he gave me hell when I deserved it.  A very large part of who I am comes from him.

Just from the tiny piece that you have shared here, I can see where you get a lot of yourself from

Bel, that was a great grandpa!
Numbers 3, 4, and 5 are touching, 6 is funny, and 7 is very much right on.  I love curmudgeonly old grandpas who call them as they see them, and don't beat around the bush.  Language?  pfft.  Who cares.  I remember both my grandfathers and miss them.

Grandpa was one of a kind!  And I do wish I had listened more often while growing up.

Passion
When Grandpa passed the Preacher asked what his favorite phrase was.  We all busted out laughing as there was NO WAY we were going to say that.

I like your Grandpa, too...
I hope you've put some of his sayings in the scrapbook with his photos...:)

Grandparents

can be a veritable font of wisdom.  More often than not, we should listen closely to our elders...

Thanks for visiting, bel!

#8 IS OF COURSE, my fav-

But I loved them all.

My mother always used to say:

"I may give out, but I'll never give up."

Guess the older generation had alot more staying power than us. We're all wusses by comparison.
