The Bee Gees
I've always been a fan of the Bee Gees. They really didn't have many number one hits, they always seemed to be in the top ten, but never on top.
I still believe, that the only good thing to come out of the disco faze, was the Bee Gees finally got paid. I had the opportunity to see them in 1972 with a 16 piece orchestra backing them. It was one of the most magical nights I ever spent listening to someone else's music.
