Change takes most of us a long time my friend. It really is One Day At A Time and I'm being constantly reminded of that.
I'm also reminded by my sponsor to say that Serenity prayer a lot.
Now he's still telling me those things and I'm in my 39th year of sobriety. Does that give you an idea of time it takes my friend.?

Getting along is also a good trait. Sometimes, its not us but them who can't accomodate us. Lol.
