Hello Mari-am! No, I want to go to Japan, but I am American!
I write haiku because I love the Japanese culture. So, are you from Japan? They are my favorite people! To all who prayed for my son(s), thank you so much. They are out shopping right now for fireworks and I have relaxed a tiny bit and am fixing food for a big party tonight! My wife may even manage to come up for a minute. Happy Independence Day to everyone, everywhere!

Thanks Mark and Ypun! I have gotten some great motivation and
ideas from my friends here at Blogit! The support and caring here is wonderfully uplifting! Ypun, you know that old verse "Foolish hearts of a feather, flock together!" or something like that!  The boy should be home in about 3-5 hours now!

Dave..........my heart skipped a beat or two, about your son's plane ride
over Baghdad! Thanks God your son and his comrades are safe. I can understand your mixed feelings---anticipation, excitement and disappointment. But above all, I see the gratitude (even for my haiku) and your wonderful FRINDSHIP and acceptance of me, and my foollish heart wishing EVERYONE'S dreams come true this weekend, and on this shared universe. Hang in there, and keep writing with the heart of your pen, Dave!

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS!
Yeah, I will have to deal with his stress on top of mine. It is going to be a good, hard, fun, stressed two weeks I wouldn't trade for anything!

SWFTFOX,
Having had a son in Iraq for a year, I know what you are feeling.  When you finally get him home, you will want to hang on to him physically and never let go.  You and your son have my prayers.
