Hey, I was born dying,
we all are. I wouldn't want to live a longer life if it meant giving up what I love.

Well, if I am enjoying the lifestyle
and changing is not going to let me live longer...why would I change? Besides, I would rather live short and happy versus long and miserable!

Good grief! I read your headline, and I thought that we had a case of spontaneous combustion here in Blogit! Here I was, standing ready with mask and oxygen, and extinguisher, when I saw it was about some quack yakking on about one's lifestyle.
So damned tedious, these medical bods, aren't they? Now, if they were to go out and buy a suit, get a proper job, and marry a good Jewish shiksa, we'd all be a lot better off

There's an old saying:
"I drink because I'd hate to get up in the morning sober and know that's the best I'm gonna feel all day."
As to lifestyle change -- quality, not quantity. I'd rather live ten more years at full tilt than fifty more years hooked up to all kinds of shit.
Or so I say. I've never had to make the choice. I think I would prefer it that way...

I would not make a change I would continue to live my life as I want .
When death is certain then why make amendments in the lifestyle .
