thank you for sharing that Grandmammina. She must have a lot of love for life. You know, I am also wondering what things I will be learning when I turn 80. I am looking forward to it.

padre, just a note to tell you that the text About This Blog, to the right
on the blog post page, has HTML showing in its text and not a link.
I remember using DOS and Eudora for mail and not knowing what the heck that I was doing, but managing, all the while, to actually do it.
I couldn't use DOS today to save my life. I am getting too old to have to keep constantly learning.
I miss being in a generation which could actually and truly retire and let things go, no more learning, no more frenetic activity....
Now, my poor 83 year old mommy has to learn updated software and page layouts and ways of doing new computer things and,
bless her heart, she manages. She should just be able to sit and quilt or read, but no, she has 150 relatives online all over the world and US and that includes children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
This week she learned how to write a blog. She asked me to open up one for her. So, she has one and should begin to post soon. She is all excited about it. 83 years old.
