alt.muslim, my brother has predicted that, at least, ten such "plots"
will be put into the news or 'revealed' as we get closer to the time of our elections for president. So, far, there are two that we can identify as silly, and counting.

some people are saying this
recorded words of Muslim " leaders" that Muslims are working towards a worldwide caliphate?

i have to doubt that it is so.

many people here on blogit feel that it is so.  There is a strong movement against muslims on Blogit.

mainly by a small number of people.

more needs to be said to offset this biased view by Christians and others.

After the prematurely declared collapse of communism in 1989, the United States needed a new enemy to justify one of its largest industries:  arms manufacture.  That new enemy unfortunately was Islamic extremism, which has been confused with Islam in toto.  Extremism is not localized to one religion or ideology.  Even free-market democracy has supported its own tyrannies.  Excellent and informative post.

Somehow, nothing you've written suprises me, nor the media excitement and mishandling.  I begin to think all the News is more scripted than Reality TV shows.
