Afzal, It is only through God's help that we can practice humility. I
try to show humility, but sadly, am proud all too often.

Lilane, It is not wrong to be proud of what you are but it is wrong when you boast about it . Pride necessitates boasting ,hence pride over self or any possessions should be checked .

Pride in moderation
is OK, in fact I think we all need to have pride in ourselves. When pride becomes conceit then it's a problem.
Pride is what pushes us to do our best but when it makes us believe we are better than others then it's just plain obnoxious!
