heel wearing
when i was applying for office jobs about a year ago, i used to have to practice wearing heels around my house to become accustomed to it. i was an art student who'd ran around my college campus wearing sandals and sneakers - what did i know about heels? anyway, i ended up not with an office job, but a teaching job. i didn't want to waste all that i'd practiced, so i wore heels to teach for the hell of it. i'm a pro now. so, to sum all of this up, no, you're definitely not strange for having to practice wearing heels.
