Azur, glad u stopped by, teacher and writer!
So glad you can appreciate some of the hype around soccer. It certainly is a sport that offers involvement of nations more fully than new American sports does not, at this time, have the same popular appeal and emotional connections. Perhaps some diversity is welcome, instead of making everything the same in the global village, the McSporitng of the world. Blah.....I'm also a dreamer. Shalom dear Azur.

It has been really something hasn't it? and it does unite many
people. Some of my family are going to the first semi final and
they are not German or Italian. It will be quite something. I
agree that some don't see the game because and the tumult and tension
by merely focusing on the number of goals.
