True; lemons are also bitter-sweet... and I only fully understood the meaning of that expression when I was in love that time.

mneme, sometimes a very small, ordinary thing like a slice of lemon
can be a sweet reminder of a past love that sustains us through a time when there is no love...a slice of lemon can serve as a reminder that when things go sour, despair can be sweetened with hope...your poetry is so beautiful; it always strikes a chord within my heart.

I read through a couple of times. At first I was a little unsure and then in the simplicity I saw the beauty and my senses were awakened.
