Yep

That would be a nice safety blanket, but not having the chance means that we have to be more careful in choosing our words.

About the comment you left on my picture, you are very close to what the picture means to me. What I say about it is... "I have not written a hit song in a very long time, but now I have the courage to try again". The picture is me. :)

With a Written Comment I Mean Exactly What I Write for I Have Time to Think

In the heat of the moment of a conversation, I have more of a chance of sayiing something that I wish I could take back.  I do not talk a lot, so most often I mean exactly what I say when I do speak!! Now, how the person receives it can be a problem!!

I think that would be great.  There have been times where I would have loved to be able to at least edit a comment because of an oops.

Hi.. Yes, I think we should be able to delete our comments and edit them, sometimes leaving one word out of sentence can change the whole meaning and we wouldn't have to worry about the typo's.

I try to be cautious before typing

but every now and again something comes out in haste or simply comes out the wrong way!!!
