I don't listen to that much radio...but it used to urk the hell out of me when I was younger and the popular stations would play the same crap over and over and over and over and over again.
Especially those songs that you just hated!

Rumored, Wayne Newton??? LOL, I'll agree with you on that one! LOL

Bel... Vienna is one of my favorites!

posted by -blackcat on June 19, 2006 at 8:30 PM | link to this | reply

You know, satellite radio.
There's XM and there's Sirius. Both of them are terrific, if for no other reason than you will never, ever, hear the obnoxious yelling car sales guy anywhere. But mostly, there;s a zillion channels, all programmed to your taste.

posted by strat on June 19, 2006 at 8:29 PM | link to this | reply

I like
Vienna Waits For You.  He also does an awesome version of New York State Of Mind.

Strat, I'm glad you understand...btw, what's XM??

Rcky, I'm confused..which song?? Oh, I love Fleetwood too..."Landslide"
is my fav!

Nanaroo, thanks!

posted by shelly_b on June 19, 2006 at 8:23 PM | link to this | reply

Yikes!
Pretty much all of them. Radio has a way of either pounding one decent song to death or hugely overplaying the lamest tune on the whole album. That's why XM rocks.

posted by strat on June 19, 2006 at 8:23 PM | link to this | reply

Blackcat, I think that's a good thing, babe...LOL

posted by shelly_b on June 19, 2006 at 8:23 PM | link to this | reply

Shelly.....

I love most all Billy Joel songs....except that one! I don't know what it is but I hate that song too. I also got tired of hearing Fleetwood Mac's "Don't Stop Thinking About Tomorrow" during Clinton's run for President! And I like Fleetwood Mac.
